Established in 1978 in Sydney, Toshiba International Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toshiba Corporation, Japan. Originally operating as a representative office of the parent company, TIC’s initial activities were successfully focused on the Power Generation and Steel Industries. It was from this solid engineering base that Toshiba International Corporation’s Oceania operations was formed and rapidly grew to incorporate branch offices in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.

Today, the regional and export business is growing. In response to our customer needs, we are developing our services capability to support our competitive portfolio of products, systems and solutions.

We are preparing to meet future challenges and tomorrow’s developing customer needs by providing new products, systems, solutions and services. New technologies are emerging with improved operational characteristics such as improved efficiency, low cost operation and environmentally friendly, flexible designs that are network-able. This technology is expected to enable our customers to operate their businesses effectively by increasing speed and efficiency in deploying projects in an increasingly competitive market and demanding society.
